Even though we don't celebrate Christmas, my boys and I have started our own tradition a few years ago. It goes like this. We'd skip school and work one day around Dec 21 to go to Toronto Eaton Centre just three of us, using Toronto Transit. This year I have also been starting expanding my kids' palate by letting them try new food at more grown-up restaurants. So on the same day because of my older boy's curosity ( He followed the entire USA election religously), we went to the America restaurant at Toronto Trump Hotel. The food, service and decor were so letdown honestly but we had so much fun pretending to be on a business lunch like all other tables around us:) The kids were trying to sell me on the product that their imaginary factory was producing. After lunch, they also did some shopping and I did too:)  So all in all, I would say that it was a successful day for all of us!

با وجود اینکه ما کریسمس را جشن نمی گیریم٫ پسرها و من یک رسم خودمون را چند سال پیش شروع کردیم. اینجوری هست. نزدیکهای ۲۱ دسامبر یک روز کار و مدرسه را تعطیل می کنیم برای رفتن به ایتون سنتر تورنتو با اتوبوس و قطار. همینطور امسال من شروع کردم به معرفی کردن غذاهای جدید در رستورانهای یک کم بزرگ گونه به بچه ها. برای همین همون روز به خاطر کنجکاوی پسر بزرگم( تمام انتخابات آمریکا را سرسختانه دنبال کرد.)٫ به رستوران امریکا در هتل ترامپ تورنتو رفتیم. باوجود اینکه غذا٫ سرویس و دکور واقعاً ناامید کننده بود٫ به ما خوش گذشت. وانمود می کردیم که در نهار بیزینسی هستیم مثل تمام میزهای اطرافمون و پسرها سعی داشتند محصول کارخانه خیالیشون را به من بفروشند:) بعد از نهار هم آنها یک کم خرید کردند و من هم همینطور! کلاً روز خوبی بود!
