Maybe it goes back to my background but a little bit of details including sequin here and there makes me happy! I find most sequin pieces appropriate for both day and night depending on how you'd style it.
Few weeks ago, at St. Lawrence Market in Toronto, I overheard a conversation between two vendors. One was saying to the other, " You can't keep Persian ladies away from shiny stuff like silver and gold." I am sure the guy had no intention of categorizing them as racoons and he was merely venting out his frustration for lack of traffic around his own table which by the way was full of wooden odds and ends!!
What he said, in my opinion, is such a stereotype but again it can be taken as a compliment because both silver and gold are good commodity to invest in and that shows most Persian ladies are good financial planners, right?
