Description
Two Antique French Victorian Blue Oil Lamps, Oil lanterns, Table Oil Lamps, Banquet Oil lamps with a Brass Cherub, Sea Nymph rising from the sea holding a fish for a base. They are quite rare and unique Victorian French Oil Lamps that would date back to around the 1870's France. The Base of these Oil lamps is done in Brass and depicts a Cherub or Sea Nymph holding a fish under his arm while sitting on an island of Flowers with waves from the sea around him. The stem of these oil lamps are made from Red Oak. The font or oil tank is made in light blue pressed glass with a diamond almost fish scale like pattern all over it. The Burners are a No. 14 Kosmos-Brenner solid brass burner that uses a 2 1/8 Inch Cotton Wick. These particular Victorian French blue lamps are 26 Inches tall which makes it one of the taller styles of oil lamps.
These two particular French Victorian Blue glass Oil lamps are in excellent vintage working condition and they have been restored and will come with a new wick.
