Green Compote: This is a lotus blossom compote that was made by the Indiana Glass Co. This particular compote was made beginning in the 1960's, through to the 1980's. The compote is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. There is a manufacturing defect on the bottom of the base caused by how the molten glass formed in the mold. It somewhat resembles a chip however, on close inspection, you can see the texture of the mold in it and black ash. The compote is around 29cm (7.5") tall and has an approximate diameter of 15.5cm (6").
