Most stores in the United States have this Duty-Free promotion for online shoppers every now and then and you'd think that would be a good opportunity for us, International shoppers, right? But there is a point you should not overlook. I know for a fact that for most regular-priced designer items, you would not get the best deal. The reason lies in currency conversion. For example, if you were to buy Fendi bag with a price tag of $850 US from a Canadian Store , you would pay $850 CA+Taxes(No conversion, total $961). But when you were to purchase the same bag online from let's say a US store(with the duty free promotion), you would end up paying $1098(taxes included and basically $137 more). And that difference would increase for higher-priced items, right? Having said that, you can't deny good promotions as well as wide selections of merchandise that draw Canadians to the stores in the United States for online shopping. I am one of them! I hope this helps some of you who are interested in online shopping. Have a great Sunday everyone! By the way, the pictures above are on my current craving list! Thank you so much for visiting! Come back soon!
