Is life better in pairs? Maybe or Maybe not. But I know for a fact that some things are better in pairs like vintage vases, West Germany pitchers and some new decanters:) The lonely girl portrait and small wooden "In the name of god" plaque were added to give this gathering of pairs some contradiction.
